A GOOD field of 21 men turned out for their Monthly Medal on Saturday, November 5.

Despite the rain the course had earlier in the week, the course had dried out noticeably, for some anyway.

There were considerably varied scores returned, depending on who navigated the course via the driest route.

The deserving winner of the medal was Ron Gallagher with a respectable, for the conditions, net score of 71.

Allan Retallick was hot on his heels with 72 net, assisted by an eagle on the par 4 second with a 150m 'chip' in.

Next in line were Peter Hertzog (73), Mick Luscombe (74) and Roger Church (75).

NTPs went to Dave Browning on both the seventh and ninth, along with the Tatts Ticket from the Tawonga South Newsagency & PO.

Trevor English was closest on the 17th while Don Mason collected the money on the 18th.

Congratulations to all who played and well done to Ron for the win, and Allan for his eagle and the balls in the Eagle's Nest, which he enthusiastically distributed among his playing group.

Next month's Monthly Medal is the first one for the new season which also incorporates the club's CAZNA Cup played between this seasons' Monthly Medal winners: Ben Peacock (Dec 2021), Sam Bellchambers (Jan 2022), Stuie Jelbart (Feb), Michael Bartholomew (Mar), Dave Etherton (April), Dave Whelan (May), Dave Browning (June), Tony Campen (July), Ross Rynehart (August), Taf Sullivan (Sept), Peter Hertzog (Oct) and Ron Gallagher (Nov).
