A FIELD of 250 riders lined up for second round of the Victorian Gravity Enduro Tour at Bright last weekend.

The Alpine Cycling Club Gravity said a lot of hard work went into organising the return of Gravity Enduro racing to Mystic Park, and they were absolutely thrilled with the outcome.

The bar was set high with a technically, physically and mentally challenging course, and from all reports, it was on the money.

Saturday’s wet and thundery weather created some challenges for everyone out on the hill but, in typical Bright style, the rain cleared and the sun came out on Sunday to truly showcase our the town and its incredible trails.

Come race day, riders faced ever-changing conditions with everything from hero dirt to slippery ice-like clay, while there was a good turnout of spectators who created a great atmosphere at points along the course.

Organisers were blown away by the demand for entries and were thrilled to deliver an event that was successful and hit the mark for the riders.

The event was made possible thanks to our amazing list of sponsors and also a team of dedicated volunteers.

RESULTS – Elite Men; 1st Hayden Stead, 2nd Jeremy Hamilton, 3rd Jackson White. Elite Woman: 1st Elise Empey, 2nd Lia Ladbrook, 3rd Rachel Hore.
