Porepunkah Primary School has welcomed 18 foundation students (pictured) who are starting their educational journey in 2026.

Acting principal Sharelle Channon said the whole school overall has had a wonderful start to the year, with foundation students and their families settling in well.

Foundation students have enjoyed the social side to their schooling the most, with several seeking out older siblings or new friends on the playground during break times.
