ON Friday, September 20, Bright Lions Club treated the 2024 Bright P-12 College Year 12 cohort to a celebratory and delicious 'Burgerville' lunch to recognise and acknowledge the completion of their final year of schooling, as exams begin early next term.

This has become an annual event following the inaugural luncheon held in the midst of the Covid pandemic, which was instigated to remind the students that the community recognised their incredible efforts to push through such trying times and were there to celebrate and support them.

"The message the club extends remains the same each year," Bright Lions Club representative and youth chairperson, Jenni Sgambelloni, said.

"Our young people are our future and their presence in our community is not only important, but valued and respected.

"The 2024 Year 12 cohort have successfully navigated their way through some extraordinary challenges and are to be commended for their perseverance and positive outlook for the future."

The students were wished all the very best for their exams and for their future ventures by Ms Sgambelloni and other members of the Bright Lions Club.
