ACTIVE COVID cases in the Alpine Shire have reduced over the past week.

Ten new COVID cases were detected on Monday, with total active cases in the shire declining by 15 per cent to 84 cases from the previous fortnight's 99, according to the Victorian Government's Coronavirus data.

If you have symptoms of COVID, Alpine Health PCR testing clinics are still open from 2.30pm–3.30pm at Mt Beauty Hospital on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Bright Hospital clinics will be testing from 7.30am to 8.30am due to increased demand for testing.

Myrtleford Hospital stopped PCR testing so if you are needing a PCR test, you'll be needing to go to either Wangaratta or Bright.
