WANDILIGONG Primary School students are taking part in yoga, mindfulness and art therapy as part of a new wellbeing program.
Using funding from the National School Chaplaincy Program (NSCP), a Commonwealth-funded initiative to support the emotional wellbeing of students, the school has appointed local mindfulness specialist Emily Rose as its new student wellbeing coordinator.
Principal, Bob Clyne, said their goal was to support student wellbeing across the whole school after the extreme events of this year, including COVID-19 and the bushfires.
