FOR the next two weeks, residents and visitors to the Alpine Shire can enter the draw to win one of three major prizes, and dozens of $100 runner-up vouchers, simply by shopping at local businesses in the lead-up to the holiday season.
The Myrtleford Times/Alpine Observer 'Buy Local and Win' promotion is all about supporting your local businesses and will run until Wednesday, December 18.
This year's top three prizes are:
* 1st prize: a $2000 voucher to spend at Foodworks in Myrtleford, Mount Beauty or Yackandandah;
* 2nd prize: an $800 voucher to spend at Catani Clothing and Strides in Bright; and
* 3rd prize: a Billy Button Wines Pack valued at over $500.
Anissa Griffiths, general manager of Billy Button Wines, said she is proud to support and be a part of this shop local campaign.
"We are so lucky to have such great businesses in our community," she said.
"We appreciate the opportunity to help encourage people to spend their money locally to help support our local businesses."
