ACTIVE COVID cases have dropped significantly in the past week, but still remain above 100 in the Alpine Shire.
Some 19 new COVID cases were detected in the 24 hours to Monday, with total active cases in the shire declining to 109 cases from the previous week's 150, according to the Victorian Government's Coronavirus data.
Alpine Health's COVID vaccination clinics are operating on Mondays at the Alpine Community Health Centre in Bright (9am–11am) and Mt Beauty Hospital (1pm–3pm).
Myrtleford residents can go to the multi–purpose room at Myrtleford Hospital to receive any of their remaining vaccines with an all–day clinic running each Wednesday.
Vaccinations are available via walk–in with the demand for vaccines being reduced due to a high percentage of people being vaccinated.
If you have symptoms of COVID, Alpine Health PCR testing clinics are still open from 2.30pm–3.30pm at Mt Beauty Hospital on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Bright and Myrtleford Hospital clinics will be testing from 7.30am–8.30am due to increased demand for testing.
Albury Wodonga Health will be running a vaccination clinic today from 1pm to 5.30pm at the Myrtleford Neighbourhood Centre.
