RESULTS of Alpine Shire Council's election will be officially declared at the Victorian Electoral Commission election office in Bright at 4pm Friday.
Provisional results from the VEC listing the seven successfully elected candidates, from the field of 12, are: Sarah Nicholas (1st), John Andersen (2nd), Gareth Graham (3rd), Peter Smith (4th), Noah Tanzen (5th), David Byrne (6th), and Jean-Pierre Ronco (7th).
Following Friday's declaration, all seven councillors are to be sworn in, to serve their four year term, at the Alpine Shire Council offices in Bright next Thursday, and they will attend their first council meeting on Tuesday, November 25 at 5pm at the offices, where a mayor and deputy mayor will be elected.
