Myrtleford went down in their A grade clash with Albury Tigers on the weekend after leading at half-time.

The Saints held the advantage by four goals at the mid-match break, but ultimately couldn’t hold on to the lead, falling 36-44.

It was scintillating netball early doors, as the Saints shot out to a 13-9 lead after 15 minutes, a margin they maintained through the second term.

However, Albury would bring themselves back through the third, flipping the script to lead the Saints by three heading into the last 15 minutes.

It was all Albury through the fourth, as the Tigers capitalised on turnovers and shot cleanly, outperforming Myrtleford across the court.

The A grade Saints sit eighth on the ladder with a 3-12 record, but other grades are simply flying through the season

C grade continued their domination of the league with a 68-22 smashing of the Tigers, with the Saints two games clear on top of the ladder.

They’ll more than likely be joined in finals by the under 15 and under 17 Saints squads, who also sit in the top three.

The juniors flew the flag on the weekend, with the under 17s holding off a challenge from Albury to take the win 45-40, while the under 15s hammered the Tigers 54-19.

B grade suffered another loss, falling agonisingly short, 30-32.
