The Alpine Shire has seen a big influx of visitors enjoying all the winter weather has to offer during these school holidays.
Local businesses have experienced an increase in holiday traffic, with Bright's Sun Cinema operating all seven days of the week to cater to more showtimes.
"An enormous group of guests just went in to see a film," Audrey Mitchell said last Thursday.
"But people don't just have to come in here to see a movie; they can come in for a coffee anytime, since it's quite hard to find one in town after 3pm.
"People can also customise their viewing, with a drink to start with and schedule one to be sent in half-way through the film."
It was pandemonium in the Cloud 9 Escape Rooms in Bright, as holiday makers signed up for group sessions and viewed the toys, collectibles, stickers, badges and apparel on display.
"Great wintery days like today are really good for us," Jon Setford said.
"Even people who don't book a room are welcome to drop in and check us out.
"I love to see lots of people who are visiting from all over look at what we have to offer."
While last week's deliverance of rain made engaging in outdoor activities less likely, Myrtleford's Buffalo Boulders rock climbing café was just the place to be to keep up your crawling skills.
"The school holiday trade has been excellent thanks to the weather outside," Josh Landells said.
"It's great to see people have been enjoying rock-climbing and keeping up their adventures indoors.
"We've certainly seen an increase of bookings during the school holidays."
The Rhodes family from Mildura were among the visiting crowds last week, with Brendan, Jade, Billy and Ruby recovering from their fun-filled snow adventure at Dinner Plain last Wednesday by enjoying the playground and walking trail in Bright.
"I grew up here, and we are able to get back to have a family catch-up every now and then," Jade said.
"Yesterday we were at Dinner Plain, tobogganing and snowboarding.
"From where we live in basically the desert, it was good to have a play in the snow."
While constructing a snowman, Jade couldn't get past the base snowball before daughter, Ruby intervened.
"I stomped on Mummy's snowman with my snow boots," she said.
Meanwhile, Billy kept things simple with a snow angel.
"I had a lot of fun in the snow," he said.
