Footpath cyclists cause anxiety for pedestrians

MYRTLEFORD locals are calling out cyclists on the footpath, saying they are a danger to pedestrians in town.

Long-time town resident Sherran Mitchell said she was almost hit by a cyclist last month when she stood up from a seat outside the chemist on Clyde Street.

“I stood up to greet my husband and two, three bikes went flying past me, missed me by about a foot,” she said.
