Kiewa Pat – Les Wiebenga

How long have you lived in the area?

I've lived here for 40 years coming up here from Frankston to take part in Scouting activities at Rover Scout Lodge.

What do you like about the area?

The people, the pristine environment, the river, mountains and many walking trails. Also there are plenty of opportunities here for new businesses to be opened.

Would you like to see any additions or changes?

More facilities, like a public toilet block in Tawonga South, a retirement village, a perfect place would be on the vacant blocks adjacent to the start of the Pebble Beach Walk.

What are your hobbies and interests?

I now work trading in the World Financial Markets, investing is a full time job.

I started working here for the SEC, I opened Gateway Cafe at Falls Creek, and started Kiewa Valley Food Services.

I was a Scout leader for many years
