How long have you lived here?
I have two places, one here and one in Albury. I've been coming here most weekends for the last 24 years.
What do you like about the place?
Everything, the genuine people, the river, mountains and serenity.

What are your hobbies and interests?
I have retired from lecturing in sociology at La Trobe University where my students were mainly nurses.
I am now doing historical research on the Beechworth Asylum through the Charles Sturt University.
I like to bushwalk mainly up in the high country.
Where would you take visitors to showcase the area?
To Falls Creek, Wallace Hut, the Pondage, Pebble Beach and the Gorge walks.
