How long have you lived in Myrtleford?

Apart from 18 months living overseas, I’ve been here all my life. Our family farm was at Eurobin, I was born at the Myrtleford Hospital. It's just a great little town. The community spirit is amazing. You want something done, go around and talk to people and things get done.

What do you do for a living?

I’m a graduate paramedic.

How did you get into that?

I was an ambulance community officer in town for nine years on a voluntary basis. You put yourself on call and when a job comes in, you go to assist the paramedic, driving, carrying equipment, etc, and assisting in any way you can. I thoroughly enjoyed that and thought, okay, can I go any further with the study and stuff?

What are your hobbies or interests?

Woodworking, gardening and walking the dogs.

What do you like about the area?

The definite four seasons – summer, winter, autumn, spring – it’s just beautiful. And just the general community spirit.
