Change to 60-day prescriptions has a side effect

PEOPLE accessing prescription medications are expected to be $180 better off each year depending on the quantity of medicines they receive under 60-day medicine dispending reforms that have come into effect immediately for vulnerable people and for others from September 1.

Along with the cost savings to the consumer, the change will lessen the need for people to make as many trips to GPs and pharma...
