A BRIEF but destructive storm swept through the Kiewa Valley last Wednesday night, felling trees, powerlines and causing power outages, with two caravan park residents narrowly escaping a falling tree.
The storm hit around 7pm, and at the Tawonga Tourist Park people quickly sought shelter in their caravans, but this was almost fatal for one couple.
