An aircraft pilot was lucky to survive after a crash last Wednesday in Porepunkah, according to Brigade Captain Mick Dalbosco, who assisted emergency services when the man was found.
The Cessna Skylane ploughed into a stand of tea trees on Mr Dalbosco's property west of the Buckland Valley Road at around 4:40am after taking off from the Porepunkah airstrip.
