ALPINE Shire Council will spend an unbudgeted capital expenditure of $75,896 for the purchase of two new vehicles, replacing three older vehicles in council’s fleet.
The three old vehicles are required to ensure the recommended water trailer suppression units can be made available at council’s transfer stations and moved around site by staff in the instance of spot fires.
