FAMILY AFFAIR: John Bradford (centre) was joined by wife Kaye (cream sweater) as well as his four daughters, two sons in law, and six grandchildren as he was presented a local achievement award on Friday.

OUR Murmungee Australia Day breakfast was an excellent morning after the rain, although we set up indoors and under the verandah just in case.

Thanks to the hall committee for their preparation, and the grounds looked their best after some great work from the Beechworth Correctional Centre crew.

John, Jane and Kate Witherow had the barbecue humming early to feed the 60+ participan...
