Rehearsals running smoothly for September stage production

The Bright Theatre Company (BTC) has proudly cast their upcoming spring production of 'Things I Know to Be True', an Australian drama centred around the Price family, written by Andrew Bovell, playwright of 'Lantana'.

"The biggest challenge with casting was to find the perfect contrast between family members...to maintain the perfect connection and familiarity amongst the group of strangers coming together as a family," director, Carolyn Waddell said.

"We’re very excited as the cast are amazing and it’s already shaping up to be quite a special production for BTC."

Funny, poignant and heartbreaking, the play explores the dynamics of a family and how the two parents deal with acceptance, truth and challenges presented to them by their adult children.

'Things I know to be True' will open at the Bright Courthouse on Thursday, 11 September and run until Saturday, 20 September.

This show is not to be missed, with some very special moments which are innately relatable to the majority of families.
