How long have you lived in Myrtleford?

I moved down here in 2015 from far north Queensland, not far from Cairns. We moved from Canada about 55 years ago.

What do you do?

I'm a retired person, but I was a registered nurse and nurse educator in Adelaide.

What are some of your hobbies and interests?

I'm an active member with the local U3A, which started up in 2017. I take care of the website for U3A, as well as being involved in helping to lead a couple of the groups and helping to find new courses for the members.

What do you like about the area?

I was very lucky. My son and his wife had lived in Melbourne while he was studying and they got smart and moved up here to Myrtleford to be closer to the snow. One evening my son rang me and said 'if we found a block of land that's large enough for us to have a house and for you to build a granny flat, would you like to move down here?'
