How long have you lived in the area?

I've lived in the Alpine Shire for over 20 years. I spent 10 years in Mt Hotham, then settled in Bright with my family.

What do you do?

I work for Zirky Real Estate in property sales, covering from Harrietville to Bright, Wandiligong, Porepunkah and Myrtleford.

What are your hobbies and interests?

I love the outdoor life, particularly snowsports in winter and mountain biking the rest of the year. I'm heavily involved with the Alpine Little Athletics Club as a founding member on the committee. It's great getting to know the local kids and watching them develop their skills and work together as a team.

What do you like about the area?

Having grown up in the city I feel really lucky to have found such a beautiful place to live and raise our children. I love the endless outdoor activities on our doorstep year round.

Where would you take visitors coming here?

We really are spoilt for choice but my perfect day out in the valley would probably start off with a mountain bike ride, followed by coffee and pastries at Six Pence, a swim in the creek, winery for lunch and maybe Reed & Co, Tomahawk or Dr Mauve for dinner.

Is there anything you would change about the area?

The area no, but there are certainly aspects of the infrastructure which need to grow to service the local community and visitors alike.
