MYRTLEFORD has produced its best performance of 2016 to record its third win of the Ovens and Murray football season.
The Alpine Saints continued their good form in their round seven meeting with Wangaratta Magpies and cruised to a 10-goal win with an 18.8 (116) to 8.8 (56) result.
Another strong opening quarter from the Saints saw them gain a 31-point advantage which they never relinquished.
Although their lead was slightly reduced to 28 points at halftime the Saints came out in the third term and piled on seven majors to all but sew up the contest.
At the last change the difference was 47 points before a four goal to two final quarter took it out to 60 points.
The Saints once again shared the load in attack with 12 individual goal scorers bobbing up to kick their 18 majors.
