BRIGHT rebounded from its narrow loss to Tarrawingee last week with a solid performance in the mud at King Valley on Saturday.
The encounter had the potential to be a danger game for the Mountain Men but the away side put in the type of showing we have come to expect from them when weather and playing conditions are far from perfect.
The 58-point victory was the kind of response coach Regan Alexander was hoping for after having too few contributors in their last wet match.
“It was a good win, we had 21 contributors which was really pleasing after last week’s performance,” Alexander said.
“The conditions were ones we are pretty used to now and we play pretty good in the slop, I don’t know what it is but we just seem to play for each other a hell of a lot more.
“At the start of the game we really set out to play well as a side and start the game strongly.
