Former Myrtleford Savoy player Giuliano “Gules” Cappellari teases son Aaron about the result of Saturday’s inaugural Generation Cup.

The soccer match, the brainchild of English imports Lewis Holloway and George Taylor, put the team’s former greats against the current batch of players for the AWFA club’s season closer.

Much to their delight, the older generation took victory in a penalty shootout, with Gules scoring the winning goal. See sports pages for story and more photos.
