AFTER a one year hiatus, the Bright Wanderers Cricket Club is back and stronger than ever.

AFTER a one year hiatus, the Bright Wanderers Cricket Club is back and stronger than ever.

Unable to form a B grade side last season, this year the club has been given a new lease of life in the form of a new committee.

Committee president Andrew Badrock said he was approached to play a part in the reforming of the club by former president Jason Dodd.

“Jason approached me and said if we didn’t form a committee the whole club was going to fold, and he was happy to help out in a smaller role,” he said.

“I have taken over the senior cricket and Jason will be running the junior cricket side.

“It’s now time for the younger blokes to step up and take over running the club and make sure it keeps going.”
